About Wamala Growers: Your Partner in Coffee Farming & Processing
Wamala Growers Co-operative Union Ltd Is a farmer’s
organization incorporated under the Co-operative laws.
Registered on 12th December1968, No. 2441.
The Union’s area of operation covers five Districts, in
Central Uganda region, namely; Kiboga, Kyankwanzi,
Kasanda, Mityana and Mubende. Its membership is made
up of primary co-operative societies numbering 168,
each representing an average of 300 (three hundred)
members/farmers per society

Coffee Cultivation & Plantation Management
At Wamala, we take pride in cultivating high-quality coffee on our farms. Our plantations are carefully managed using sustainable agricultural practices to ensure the best yields. We focus on:

Selecting the best coffee varieties suited for our soil and climate.

Coffee Processing & Quality Enhancement
After harvesting, our coffee undergoes a meticulous processing stage to enhance flavor and aroma. Our processing services include:
Milling & Grading – Hulling, polishing, and grading beans to meet local and international market standards
Sorting & Cleaning – Removing impurities and defective beans to maintain high quality.
Processing Methods – Using both wet (washed) and dry (natural) processing techniques to achieve distinct flavor profiles.
Drying & Fermentation – Carefully controlling moisture levels for optimal taste.
Coffee Sales & Distribution
We supply high-quality coffee to local and international markets, ensuring that our customers receive premium products. Our sales and distribution services include:
Direct Consumer Sales – Providing freshly roasted coffee for individuals and businesses
Wholesale & Retail Sales – Supplying bulk coffee to roasters, cafés, and retailers.

Buying Coffee from Farmers
